Hardlight dragonets vary in appearance depending on their manufacturer's tastes, but many are sculpted with squat, potbellied dragon bodies, sinewy wings, gnarled horns, and spiny tails. Created to guard archives and perform assistive tasks, hardlight dragonets are stockier versions of the creatures they were designed to resemble. Hardlight dragonets are programmed with a draconic enthusiasm for collecting information. They take pride in maintaining encyclopedic knowledge of the archives, databases, and libraries they watch over, and they love to discuss the contents of the files or tomes therein in intimate detail. Clever or deceitful infiltrators use this weakness against a hardlight dragonet, enticing them to spill sensitive information or distracting them from their post while stealthy allies carry out their schemes.
Hardlight dragonets and other virtual creatures, such as hardlight scamps and living holograms, might sometimes be trapped within an item a party receives as loot. Sometimes virtual creatures are found on comm units, datapads, or even infesting spell chips. Typically, they've been coded and stored there by a previous owner to act as an assistant or been corrupted by malicious code and unable to function without an Computers check to troubleshoot the issue or hack permissions. On rare occasions, such a creature has infiltrated the computer or item as part of a digital virus. An infected virtual creature might present both benefits and drawbacks to their new associate.

Data Barrage
[two-actions]
(arcane, mental) Each enemy within 120 feet that can perceive the dragonet takes 1d6
mental damage as the dragonet fires facts and data points at enemy minds with dizzying speeds (DC
16 basic Will save); on a critical failure the creature becomes
stupefied 1 for 1 minute. The targets then become temporarily immune to Data Barrage for 24 hours.
Static Breath
[two-actions]
The dragonet breathes a 5-foot line of electricity. Within 30 feet of any tech device, this becomes a 10-foot cone of electricity instead. Each creature in the area takes 1d10 electricity damage (DC 16 basic Reflex save). The dragonet can't use Static Breath again for 1d4 rounds.
