SFS Standard Primal Shielding Item 5

Source Tech Core pg. 185
Usage installed in a generator
A seed infused with primal energy has grown into a tree entwined around the starship's generator. While not sapient enough to run the battle station on its own, the tree passively maintains the starship's life support systems and environmental protections even if the rest of the starship is inoperable or if the generator is malfunctioning. The generator battle station gains the Shielding Foliage station reaction, which can be used even while the generator is malfunctioning.
