Datamines can be affixed to a specific category of tech equipment to make them easier to Hack. Datamines have a limited virtual intelligence that can Hack using the listed modifier and proficiency in Computers instead of your own. When using your own modifier in Computers to attempt to Hack a system, a datamine can be used as a hacking toolkit, or in tandem with a conventional hacking toolkit to provide a status bonus to Hack the targeted computer.
