Escape Pods

While most starships come with escape pods as a standard safety feature, the cramped and sparsely supplied default models are so uncomfortable that some crew members joke they'd rather go down with the ship. Starship escape pods don't use additional upgrade slots on your starship and are automatically installed near each battle station and in each expansion bay. Escape pods are automatically restored when the starship is docked at a major port or settlement.
