tech trait as a 1-hour activity. Once modified, a creature must use a
Seek action to attempt a
Crafting or Perception check against your Crafting DC to recognize that the item has the tech trait. Otherwise, it appears as an item with the
analog trait, even if they see it used. The disguised item must appear to be the same general type of item, such as disguising a
fangblade as a greatsword or a
hypopen as an herbal remedy. Some items might be too high-tech to disguise as an analog item and can be disguised as a magic item instead, but doing so allows other creatures to use
Arcana,
Nature,
Occultism, or
Religion to attempt to determine the item's true nature.
