SFS Standard Barachius Angel Creature 7

Barachius angels are imposing, helmed figures with glowing wings made of digital circuitry. They monitor the development of technology to prevent it from being used for malevolent purposes. Toward this divine end, their armaments have been blessed with holy energy. They can produce a retractable data blade that extends from their hand and that can be used to interface universally with computer terminals and data ports on robots.

Barachius angels serve as divine vanquishers to benevolent gods—purging technology across the Universe deemed to be twisted or evil. Their philosophies on what constitutes evil can be unclear, as these angels might hunt down an individual malfunctioning robot yet leave nuclear missile silos untouched.

On a hit, the target must attempt a DC 25 Will saving throw as the angel's holy influence attempts to seize control over it. A target with the holy trait use the outcome one degree of success better than the result of its roll, while one with the unholy trait uses the outcome one degree of success worse than the result of its roll.

Critical FailureThe target's core processes are seized by the angel, giving the target the controlled condition for 1 minute. While the target is controlled by the barachius, the angel can also use any of their spells as if it originated from the target rather than the angel. The target can attempt a new saving throw at the end of each of its turns to end the controlled condition.
Holy Arms In the hands of a barachius angel, all weapons gain the holy and magical traits and are powered by divine will, negating the need for batteries or ammunition.

Angel

While many angels in modern times ascended from mortal souls across the cosmos, these celestial beings were among the first creatures to exist in all the cosmos. Warriors and messengers of the gods, they’re utterly devoted to their cause, whether that be destroying evil or spreading a deity’s message across the galaxy.
