For longer than anyone can remember, scavenger slimes have been found all over the galaxy. They hitch rides on starships, drift among wrecks and meteors, and lay hidden in junkyards. Their only goal: to repair everything they can get their protoplasm on. Scavenger slimes are believed to be an accidental marriage of technology and magic, built by an extremely advanced civilization as an all-purpose repair gel, only to develop rudimentary sentience and outlive their creators.
These creatures have an instinctive drive to repair and rebuild nearly any technological item they encounter. Using their extremely malleable bodies, which excrete a highly specialized resin, scavenger slimes can repair even exceedingly complex pieces of technology. They intuitively understand how to shield themselves from harm and how to operate any weapon they manage to find, aggressively using such armaments to drive any and all creatures away from their neverending repair work.

Techsense A scavenger slime can detect creatures and objects with the
tech trait as a precise sense within the listed range.
Scavenger Shell A scavenger slime builds a shell for itself from discarded pieces of technology and a secretion of natural resin. This grants the ooze Hardness. This Hardness reduces any damage it takes by an amount equal to its Hardness but temporarily removes its immunity to critical hits. Once the scavenger slime is reduced to half its Hit Points or immediately after being damaged by a critical hit, the scavenger shell breaks, removing its Hardness and reducing its Armor Class to 22.

Salvaged Armaments
A scavenger slime can incorporate up to three weapons into its protoplasmic body, gaining proficiency with each. These weapons are treated as
integrated weapons and are powered by the scavenger slime's own technomagical nature without needing to reload.
All Creatures in "Ooze"
Oozes of many types lurk in dark and abandoned places across the galaxy, emerging only to satiate their appetites and threaten adventurers, explorers, and hapless workers alike.
