This macabre weapon integrates still-living biological material from a Krethiskar Swarm component, kept vital by necromancy and power from the weapon's battery. When this superior phase cutlass is powered, it deals mental damage rather than void damage as the szandite crystals within it project a sickly glow that surrounds the blade.
One of the raptorial edge's upgrade slots has a unique 8th-level upgrade permanently installed with the acid, magical, and tech traits. This upgrade causes the weapon to deal an additional 1d6 acid damage, plus 1d10 persistent acid damage on a critical hit. The upgrade cannot be removed, but it can be improved for 60,000 credits to a 15th-level upgrade. This improvement increases the persistent acid damage on a critical hit to 2d10 and causes all acid damage dealt by the raptorial edge to ignore a target's acid resistance.
