You can permanently merge with a willing or destroyed creature with the
tech trait. If the creature is
mindless, it gains awareness and can choose whether to accept the symbiosis (depending on the circumstances gauged by the GM or determined by a DC 10 flat check). If you succeed, you can no longer use Tactical Symbiosis, but you gain basic environmental protections, protection against extreme cold and extreme heat, and a +3 status bonus to saves against
disease,
poison, and
radiation. You gain a +2 circumstance bonus to Disguise yourself as the creature you merged with, and you can communicate with your host's kin and other compatible models likely serving the same function or built by the same manufacturer, as though you'd cast
speak with computers.
