Apostae is a hollow planetoid that lacks an atmosphere and boasts few resources. However, mysterious gateways on its rocky surface provide access to a network of tunnels, magitech chambers, and caverns inside its core. The world itself is an immense complex, or worldship, sent to the Pact System for some unknown purpose in ages past. Azrinaran elves escaped Lost Golarion through a portal that brought them to Apostae. Their descendants established wealthy dynasties that control Apostae's industry to this day, specializing in magitech, weapons, and illicit commerce.
At first scan, the distant planetoid of Apostae appears to be nothing more than a desolate tiny orb floating at the outer reaches of the Pact System, but the truth is far more insidious. The world of Apostae is a planet only in the loosest of definitions—it is, in fact, a vast interstellar vessel that entered the star system in an age long ago and has since waited near the system's edge for some enigmatic reason. Encased in stellar material collected over its untold millennia of travel, modern Apostae is now known as being a distant hub, for it's home to a powerful society of azrinaran elves and their familial corporations.
