The Idari is a massive, self-sustaining worldship orbiting the Pact Worlds' sun between Verces and the Diaspora. Originally built on the kasathan home world of Kasath to escape the planet's dying sun, the Idari arrived in the Pact Worlds in 240 AG. Finding their intended destination, the planet Akiton, already occupied, the inhabitants of the Idari chose to enter orbit and end their exodus aboard their ship, becoming a permanent fixture in the Pact Worlds. Today, the Idari is the center of kasathan culture and a thriving trade hub and political center.
Built in the aftermath of the Gap, the Idari has been in operation for centuries without pause and has seen generations pass aboard it—and will most likely see a multitude more. To survive the journey, the Idari and its people followed ancient ancestral traditions and a sense of duty to their species as a collective, worked for the good of the community, and treated one another with respect. Life aboard the worldship was rigid and structured, and it remains so to this day.
