Kyokor

Terrifying, skyscraper-sized beasts roam the wastelands of Daimalko. Called colossi by the population, these monsters erupted from deep within the earth to stomp cities into dust, decimating the population and destroying every surface civilization on the planet in a terrifying Awakening. Kyokors are among the most dreaded colossi. There's no hope of defeating one without a valko—a war machine created by Daimalko's stubborn survivors to fight the colossi.

Kyokor Hazards

When a kyokor passes by or through a settlement—or even attacks!—it leaves a trail of destruction that can be represented by the following hazards.

Kyokor Plating

When a kyokor falls—due to natural causes or after clashing with Daimalko's defenders—scavengers rush to harvest its chitinous plates. This hard, durable material makes excellent armor, contributing to a bustling gray market trade in Near Space.

Guardian Orbs

Ancient magitech devices known simply as orbs are used by Daimalko's leaders (called Guardians) to monitor colossi activity. When wielded properly, orbs can soothe or divert rampaging colossi away from a city.
