Secret-Keeper Feat 17

You're astonishingly good at keeping secrets. You gain a +4 circumstance bonus to Deception checks to Lie when it involves protecting a secret you believe is only known by 10 or fewer people. When you use Deception to Lie, you don't take a penalty to Deception checks while subject to a spell or effect that would compel you to tell the truth. Whenever you're subject to an effect that attempts to extract a secret from you, including any effect that would read your thoughts or make you controlled, you can attempt to counteract the effect using your Deception modifier as the counteract modifier, with a counteract rank equal to half your level (rounded up). You can attempt to counteract each effect only once per round.
