You disconnect and drop part of your tail to escape. You cease being
grabbed then
Step. It takes 1 day (or an effect like regenerate) for your tail to fully grow back. Until it does, you can't use your tail, and you take a –2 circumstance penalty on checks to
Balance.
Special If you have
Ancestral Unarmed Attack (tail), you can eject your tail as a reaction when you take damage from an attack. If you do, you Step and one adjacent square becomes
difficult terrain for 1 minute as your tail wriggles in place. If you also have the
Feign Death skill feat, you can Feign Death instead of Stepping, with a +2 circumstance bonus to your
Deception DC.
