You learn to crowd the minds of other creatures with your psychic static and emit it as a protective field. Each adjacent creature attempts a Will save against your class DC or spell DC, whichever is higher.
FailureThe target is off-guard against the next melee or ranged attack that you attempt against it before the end of your current turn.
Critical FailureThe target is off-guard against melee and ranged attacks that you attempt against it until the end of your next turn.
Special As a 10-minute exploration activity, you can make any number of allies temporarily immune to this ability for 24 hours. Creatures that can't access telepathy, such as other static mind lashuntas, are immune to Deployed Static.

Traits

Concentrate:An action with this trait requires a degree of mental concentration and discipline.
Lashunta:A creature with this trait is a member of the lashunta ancestry. Lashunta are charming telepaths known for their unique dimorphism. An ability with this trait can be used or selected only by lashuntas.
Mental:A mental effect can alter the target's mind. It has no effect on an object or a mindless creature.
