Many Xenowardens practice a modern version of the old Green Faith. They view nature as sacred and draw comfort from the knowledge of their place in the galactic web of life. Many devotees of the Green Faith see themselves as protectors of a planet's ecosystem, and quite a few scientists find purpose and meaning in this philosophy as well.
