Mummy Wasp Swarm Creature 6

The Corpse Fleet's most overt long-term goal is establishing the supremacy of undeath in the Pact Worlds solar system, with the system's new immortal overlords eradicating or enslaving the living as they see fit. Eventually, the glorious Corpse Fleet hopes to conquer all of Desna's Path, and perhaps expand to other galaxies.

On the smaller scale of operations, Corpse Fleet researchers experiment with necromantic weapons of all kinds, including unliving biological weapons like mummy wasps.

Mummy wasps are created by fumigating wasp swarms inside of their hives and then painstakingly and individually mummifying them in sacred paper wrappings before burying and reviving the whole nest in an unholy ritual.

When deployed, mummy wasps viciously attack living creatures and ignore undead, making them an ideal weapon for zone control and enemy suppression. They're also incredibly aggressive and invasive. Mummy wasps have been spotted in locations far from the Corpse Fleet facilities in the Vast where they were created.

Mummy wasp nests have been deployed at Barrow and other Corpse Fleet installations. They're also utilized as ammunition, shot out of breaching cannons or hurled from vehicles.
