You're a Ghost Courier: an explorer, daredevil, and urban archaeologist who wades into the unreality of the Ghost Levels on Absalom Station hoping to return with secrets, treasure, and hidden lore.
You've grown accustomed to the unpredictable and ever- changing nature of the Ghost Levels. You become trained in
Survival or become an expert in it if you were already trained. You gain the
Urban Survivalist skill feat.
Additionally, you've learned how to create and interpret coded symbols used for communication on the Ghost Levels. You learn the Courier Marks language, a language that's only expressed in written symbols. You can always
Decipher Writing using
Occultism.
Frequency once per hour
Trigger You roll initiative
Danger gives you a rush. For 1 minute, you ignore the
encumbered condition and gain a +2 circumstance bonus to your
Athletics checks. While you are not encumbered, you gain a +5-foot circumstance bonus to your Speed for the duration.
You've spent hours going through limdive footage, and now you're an expert at finding hidden details in recordings. You become trained in
Computers; if you're already trained, you instead become trained in another skill of your choice. You gain the
Hologram Skeptic skill feat. Additionally, when you critically fail your check to
Decipher Writing,
Recall Knowledge, or
Seek by watching recorded footage, you fail instead.
You know how to spot trouble. When using the
Scout exploration activity, you gain a +2 circumstance bonus to your initiative roll instead of +1, but your allies still only receive a +1.
Special If you have
Incredible Initiative, you instead gain a +3 circumstance bonus to your initiative when using the Scout exploration activity.
Frequency once every 10 minutes
Requirements You're adjacent to a vertical surface, such as a wall.
You
Stride. This Stride does not trigger reactions normally triggered by movement. You can move through other creatures' spaces as though you were Tiny. During this Stride, if you're ever not adjacent to the required surface, your Stride ends.
Special If you're
untethered, you can Step Between as long as you're touching any surface. You ignore the untethered condition during your Stride as part of this action.
Frequency once per day
Trigger You would take damage from a Strike.
Requirements You have at least one item of L Bulk.
As your life flashes before your eyes, you realize one of the trinkets you've been hoarding can soften the incoming blow. You gain resistance to the triggering damage equal to your level, and one item of L Bulk of your choice on your person is destroyed.
Frequency once per day
Trigger You would be reduced to 0 Hit Points but not immediately killed.
This isn't your last limdive. You avoid being knocked out and remain at 1 Hit Point, and your
wounded condition increases by 1. For the next minute, you gain a +1 circumstance bonus to your AC and a +5-foot status bonus to your Speed.
You carry so many trinkets around with you that you're only a little heartbroken when they shatter. You can use Treasure on My Heart once per hour instead of once per day.
You've been granted your own administrative assistant who uses drones to deliver you useful items for a nominal fee. You can use
Prescient Planner even if you've already used it after purchasing goods, and you can use it as a single action instead of a 2-action activity, during which a corporate drone appears to deliver the item directly into your hand. In addition, five times per day, you can use Prescient Planner to pull out a common consumable item of up to 6 levels lower than your level.
You see and step into the liminal spaces that are hidden throughout the Universe. You
Stride twice; these Strides do not trigger reactions normally triggered by movement.
