Absalom Station

Image of Absalom Station, a space station with eight spikes, known as the Arms, projecting from a circle of corridors and chambers, known as the Ring. In the center of the station is a transparent dome known as the Eye. Below the Ring is the Spike, which contains the magitech that runs the station.
Title The Nexus
Location Pact World
Floating in Lost Golarion's empty orbit, this bustling space station is the center of interstellar trade and governance among the Pact Worlds. Nobody knows who built Absalom Station because it appeared sometime during the Gap. The station's ancient magitech reactors are powered by the legendary Starstone, which also acts as the most powerful Drift beacon, inviting tourists and immigrants from faraway worlds. Hundreds of corporations and embassies have built headquarters on the station, and a diverse population calls it home.

Spinning in space at the same location as the lost world of Golarion, the immense artificial satellite named Absalom Station was built sometime during the Gap, but not much else is known about its construction or original purpose. As its secrets are lost to that broken time, Absalom Station is one of the galaxy's greatest mysteries, not only for its connection to the legendary lost Golarion, but because of its power source: the Starstone. The space station is the home of humanity (and other ancestries from Golarion) in the wider cosmos as well as the seat of power for the vast government that manages the Pact Worlds. Having endured since the time immediately after the Gap, the station acts as a bastion against the galaxy's many threats while also being a tempting invasion point for outside powers who covet the Starstone and its ability to redefine Drift travel.
