Moan [reaction] (emotion, fear, mental) Trigger A creature attacks an employee; Effect The barathu moans and squirms, attempting to ward off the attackers. All non-employee creatures within 30 feet must succeed at a DC 18 Will save or be frightened 1 for as long as the hazard remains active. The barathu then rolls initiative.

Routine (3 actions) The barathu attempts to Grab up to two creatures within 10 feet with a +14 Athletics modifier, then squeezes each creature it has grabbed, dealing 1d10+4 bludgeoning damage. The barathu doesn't apply a multiple attack penalty to the second attempt to Grab.

Reset The hazard resets automatically after a few moments out of combat, healing only if fed.
