Description A pool of deep, foul water attempts to drown creatures that enter it.

Disable DC 21 Nature or Religion and cast a 1st-rank or higher spell from the divine or primal traditions to cleanse the pool
Drown [reaction] Trigger A creature enters the water; Effect The creature sinks underwater and must attempt a DC 16 Fortitude save. The trap then rolls initiative.
FailureThe creature is pulled 5 feet down.
Critical FailureThe creature is pulled 10 feet down.

Routine (1 action) On its initiative, the Well of Roqorolos attempts to pull down each creature within it (as Drown). A creature in the well that is pulled under has to hold its breath to avoid drowning.

A creature in the water can attempt a DC 18 Athletics check to Swim 10 feet. On a critical failure, the creature sinks 5 feet. A creature that Swims out of the well escapes the hazard and is prone in a space adjacent to the pool. Other creatures can Aid the creature, typically by using a rope or similar aid, or attempt to pull the creature out with their own DC 18 Athletics check, with the same results as if the creature attempted the check.
