Description This network of security cameras, wall-mounted retractable turrets, and laser nets are controlled by Archivist 404, who commands them to blast intruders with extreme prejudice.

Disable DC 13 Computers (trained) overrides the security program; DC 15 Crafting or Thievery (trained) disables the hardlight projector; DC 17 Diplomacy convinces the Archivist to reconsider. Four total successes are required to end the program.

Intruder Alert! [reaction] Trigger Archivist 404 detects intruders; Effect Dozens of tiny nodes concealed in the walls, floor, and ceiling unleash a kaleidoscopic barrage of lasers that deal 1d6 fire damage to all non-hardlight creatures in Archive 404 (DC 15 basic Reflex save). Then the hazard rolls initiative.

Routine (1 action) Archivist 404 fires one laser at each intruder in the archive as one action. It takes a cumulative –1 status penalty to its attack rolls for each successful check the PCs have made to disable it.

Ranged laser +9, Damage 1d6+3 fire; no multiple attack penalty

Reset Every 6 hours, a backup program restores Archivist 404's original personality data to the projector if it’s been disabled.
